Live visibility
Know who is on site and how every space is used, in real time — occupancy, dwell, and turnover by the hour.
A car park management system should not mean barriers, tickets, and three vendors pointing at each other. Parka runs entry, digital permits, pay-by-plate payments, and fair automated enforcement on one ANPR platform — for car parks of any size, in the UK, Ireland, and the Nordics.
Know who is on site and how every space is used, in real time — occupancy, dwell, and turnover by the hour.
Pay-by-plate and digital permits, with no tickets to issue and no machines to maintain.
Automated, even-handed enforcement with photographic evidence, keeping spaces free for genuine users.
Automatic number plate recognition reads each vehicle at entry and exit, time-stamping every visit. That single record replaces the barrier, the ticket, and the pay-station queue: access is free-flow, payment settles against the plate, and enforcement runs on evidence rather than patrols.
Barriers remain available where a site genuinely needs one — driven by the same plate read — but most sites run better without them. Parka has operated this barrierless model in the Nordics since 2016.
Pay-by-plate covers visitors by phone, card, or kiosk; digital permits cover staff, residents, members, and season-ticket holders — tied to the plate, applied automatically, impossible to lend. Every transaction lands in one ledger per site, reconciled without spreadsheets.
Tariffs, grace periods, exemptions, and maximum stays are configured centrally and changed in seconds, not by visiting machines.
Enforcement fails when it is arbitrary. Parka applies your policy identically to every plate, with time-stamped photographic evidence behind each action, configurable grace periods, and whitelists for blue badges, staff, and VIPs — proportionate by design, defensible under scrutiny, and aligned with UK private-parking code expectations.
Every read, payment, and permit feeds live dashboards: occupancy by hour, revenue per space, repeat-visit patterns, abuse trends. Operators use it for pricing; estates teams for investment cases; councils for transport planning. This is why Parka is an operating system rather than a camera vendor.
ISO 27001 certified, GDPR-first, no minimum or maximum site size — one platform from a 30-space forecourt to a multi-site estate, in pounds or euro.
The software and hardware that runs a car park end to end: entry and exit control, payments, permits, enforcement, and reporting. Modern systems use ANPR to do all of it against the number plate — barrierless, ticketless, and fully audited.
For most sites, barrierless ANPR: no queues, no ticket hardware to maintain, no exit crush. Barriers still make sense for genuinely restricted areas, and Parka drives them from the same plate read where needed.
The driver's plate is the account. They pay by phone, card, or kiosk for the time used; the system matches payment to the recorded visit automatically. No tickets, no display, no machine dependency.
Run properly, yes. Parka is ISO 27001 certified and GDPR-first: plate data is processed for parking purposes only, retained to policy, with logged access — built for UK and EU scrutiny.
Any. There is no minimum or maximum — the same platform runs boutique hotel car parks, multi-storey sites, and distributed estates with dozens of locations.
Most single sites go live within days: cameras and signage installed, tariffs and rules configured in the platform, and the site switches over without closing.
